Seeking 9-20% from First Officers and 9-15% from Captains. Isn't that like giving tax breaks to the 3% of people that make over 700,000.00 per year? Elimination of the retirement contribution and adjustments to the 401K Plan. Hmm. Doesn't sound any better than the Last LOA. Thoughts anyone?

not really. i'll cast my vote (against) again, if needed. I've talked to the wilson center. talked to the reps. kinda over the whole thing. right now, it seems like either we'll stay with our current work rules, lose a bunch of airplanes and pilots, and QOL will suck. or we lose a bunch of work rules, and QOL will suck.

but i guess the uncertainty is almost over...

Welcome to ALPA's failure to control flying. The portfolio concept is not compatable with collective bargaining. ALPA has failed, and we will all suffer......

We need to work something into these talks that says we will give consessions now, but that 6 months after a health profit shows up then we will get to renegotiate. Not sit around for 3 years before we get a chance to improve our situation while the company rakes it in. You simply can't just take money from your employees and call that a profit either. I want to see the reorganization strategy that they think will turn things around. Not just "Oh, We'll take it from our employees."

ALPA needs to come to the table as a single voice for each brand.... anything else is just pi$$ing in the wind and waisting money......

So besides cut and run do you have any advice, or do you just like to b!tch about Alpa?

He just likes to bitch about ALPA, and he can't pass up any opportunity to do so anytime that ANY ALPA carrier has bad news. And his solution is to eliminate scope. At least that's what is in the relief section of the RJDC lawsuit. How do you think that would work out for you?

You are ALPA! What have you done to make things better?

Although DAL proclaimed a huge loss I understand if you decipher the bankruptcy accounting stuff they actually made money.
