You probably know of course that a lot of the current pension shortfall is due to the current stock price. As the stock price eventually goes up, the pension shortfall gets smaller.

I agree with this part. You guys are negotiating at probably the worst period in commercial aviation history. So do what management does in good economic times - drag it out!
There is no hurry to close a bad deal is there?

By May 2006, the economy may be in much better shape plus Comair and Delta will be in Section 6 again.

Imagine the possibilities.
