It probably has to do with this:
"Earlier this week, Republic Airways
Holdings, the Indianapolis-based
parent of Chautauqua Airlines,
Republic Airlines and Shuttle America,
said it will accelerate its schedule to
eliminate the small, 37-seat jet used
to carry passengers for Delta Air
Lines.
The 11 remaining Embraer E135
aircraft will be removed from service
by September 30, instead of being
phased out at the rate of two a month
from November until April 2009.
Republic also announced it will
likely cut maintenance staff at its
Louisville operation as part of a
systemwide reduction in staff that was
announced in July.
In other Delta Connection
news, ExpressJet Airlines recently
announced it will stop flying Delta
Connection routes beginning
September 1. At the same time,
ExpressJet will cease its branded
commercial passenger flight
operations on September 2. However,
it will continue flying as a Continental
Express partner."
This was posted in the latest FasTracks, which came out today.

I heard earlier this week that what little slack would be left after Chautauqua pulled back out of CVG would be picked up by Freedom.

Correct me if im wrong.. But the CVG base for CHQ was all EMB 135/145. Im not sure the number of A/C but I know it was A LOT. At least 30-40 Embraers for their CVG base.

We(Freedom) are only flying 25 out of the 27 ERJs left. And thats split between both Bases(JFK,CVG). So there is a lot of slack that needs to be picked up from the CHQ reduction.

No, there is a lot of slack that is simply going to be cut from Delta's schedules.

The only aircraft based in CVG for CHQ were 135's. All the 145's in CVG were just passing through from other bases. CHQ has only 11 135's on property (down from 15), and they will all be removed by October 1st. Freedom should have enough aircraft sitting around to cover the CHQ reduction.

9) Richard Anderson read flight info and saw what an azz-clown acarpe is and simultaneously down-graded him to lav-cart duty while blocking Comair's demise.
Now that's just mean toward the lav-cart drivers...you need to apologize.
