eliminate the small, 37-seat jet used

The 11 remaining Embraer E135
aircraft will be removed from service
by September 30, instead of being
phased out at the rate of two a month
from November until April 2009.
Republic also announced it will
likely cut maintenance staff at its
Louisville operation as part of a
systemwide reduction in staff that was
announced in July.

news, ExpressJet Airlines recently
announced it will stop flying Delta
Connection routes beginning
September 1. At the same time,
ExpressJet will cease its branded
commercial passenger flight
operations on September 2. However,
it will continue flying as a Continental
