I recieved a phone call from Sharon at ComAir today.
Does anyone know what to expect on the call back?

Thank you.

I assume you're talking about an interview invitation. When I got my call, I was asked a couple basic questions and then offered a choice of 3 days to interview.

The questions were

1) Why Comair
2) What aircraft do you have the most time in
3) Would you like to interview

Good luck

Don't take this wrong, but I would learn how to spell the name of the Airline before you go any farther. It's "Comair".Not ComAir.

???

Why the criticism of AFELLOWAVIATOR? He's right about the name, and it's better to get it correct now, before sending in a letter and resume with it incorrectly spelled (even with capitalization being the only error) -- getting the name wrong might just be a quick way to NOT get hired.

while it may be a bit over the top to jump on it here... pointing out the typing/capitalization error here may prove beneficial in the long run.

I remember someone spelling our company's name wrong... it wasn't exactly something you get patted on the back for.

And for anyone who's not paid attention, it'd probably be smart to learn how to spell AND say company names prior to interviewing, etc.

You know that commercial for Dumbass and Dumbass? Try that at an airline like Chautauqua...

Thanks for the replys!

Dont worry about it AFELLOWAVIATOR. Better right then wrong.

Comair...got it!

This is for the adults on here.

I know ALL the people involved with the hiring process at Comair very well. I work with them on a lot of issues. This very subject HAS come up a few times and like it or not, some of our people DO take offense to a pilot who claims they have researched our company and is interested in working for us, but spells the name ComAir.

It has never been spelled like that. The original name was actually Commute Air.

Omigod! Now I will never get hired!

<--- stylized Comair logo that graced our aircraft for many years

So you're stating that a "stylized" logo is a permission slip to spell the name wrong in letters to HR ???????

All that I am saying is that it is easy to write it as ComAir since that is how it appeared before the public in a myriad of locations such as the logo design on aircraft, company letterhead, etc. Although if you look at it closely, perhaps it should be written as ComAiR. Years ago, there were some who railed against calling the JetBlue-du jour Peoples Express.

Might want to loosen that chin strap a bit, jarhead.;)

Why the hostility? Just a simple question was asked. Peace Bro.

I certainly did not mean to sound rude. I was just pointing out the error. And for good reason. Good luck in your job hunt.

What was the method you used to submit your resume? How long was it from the time you sent your resume in till you received a call?
