Hey Humphrey!

How DARE you go back to the original thread topic!

We were discussing whether it's appropriate, rude or obnoxious to correct someone's spelling of the company's name.

Go ask relevant questions on someone else's thread!

I don't believe it, guys/gals...chill......he was simply pointing out a fairly common mistake.........I read it as a friendly piece of info......it you can't take a piece of criticism as small as the spelling of a company...maybe you should find a different job.....not that the original poster had a problem with the correction....it's all those stressed out people who replyed concerning the spelling correction........

You guys need to RELAX! How about answering some of the original questions in the thread. :D :p ;)

Oh, the original post.....cool on you......the call is a good thing, no worries.....I'll see you on the line.....

Its OK everyone. It's the way the company wants it, then it's the way we spell it. I am happy I was corrected sooner then later.

Humphry,
I submitted 3 weeks ago by fax, and the call back was on Friday.

Good Luck!

How about Conair like some of the public would use.

Conair...that's one I've also heard a lot though I've yet to have Nicholas Cage on one of my flights. I guess we've diversified and are now making hair dryers as well.

RichO --

Go easy, my friend. It was a joke.

Deeeep breaths. That's it. Much better.

By the way, the word "replyed" is spelled r-e-p-l-i-e-d.

Used in a sentence: "L4T replied as gingerly as possible to RichO's message."

L4T,

I think I can speak for RichO when i say he only knows how to go easy. (by the way Rich, how's the vacation going? you do fly every now and then, don't you?)

And as far as spelling goes, "Humphrey" is apparently spelled "Humphry."

Go easy on the spelling.

Humphry - Comair is hiring 125 total this year to staff 8 new 70-seaters. Surely some will come from the pool, but it might be good to get in the pool in case we get the Darn-near-a-Jets or some of the 45 phantom RJs...

Hey, don't feel bad- even the airports get it wrong. The recorded announcement on the passenger busses at LGA pronounce it 'comb-air'.

RichO & other Comair brothers:

No offense intended. Just joking around. Sorry.

RE: the original thread topic, congrats on the call. Opinion only -- I think what Sharon, or any other caller, is looking for is a genuine interest in working for the company; it can't hurt to just be honest about your enthusiasm.

Now that your out of the sim, gettin a little cock y , huh? HAHA!

How are things on line? You still with us? I will be back out in April most likely. Just look for the NOTAMS. I'll be ready for a break by then, Seeeeeeya!

And yes, I am one pretty s.o.b., and you know it.
