Finally got the details today. Those of you who attended, what did you think?

Can't attend, but I wish the language would be posted on the MEC website as previously promised on the VARS!!

Hovernut...It is on our ALPA website. After you log in click on the tab on the top - "My LEC/MEC" tab, the click on the "CMR" tab. It takes you to our ALPA site and the LOA is at the top. It's a PDF file...can't miss it. It's been there since Late Saturday.

Hope that helps...

How does it look?

ASARJFO,

checkout our ALPA website MEC site and your can read the entire TA LOA yourself.

I read quickly over it, and thought it was very interesting.

I would like to know what the Comair guys say about the 2008 date, with regards to your leases and many aircraft come to an end in 2008, I dont think there is anything that keeps the number of aircraft at 199 or whatever the final number was, after this date.

Not to mention, a good point was made that with contract negotiations typically going 3 years on average this means your only getting a 2% increase from amendable date till approx. 2010 when a new contract is signed?

Correct me if I am wrong, but this is what it seems to be.

Also, future newhires may be a problem if they know they are stuck for this long, maybe they get the job, but I could see them quiting fast if staffing is low, and they work their butts off on reserve.
