I read quickly over it, and thought it was very interesting.
I would like to know what the Comair guys say about the 2008 date, with regards to your leases and many aircraft come to an end in 2008, I dont think there is anything that keeps the number of aircraft at 199 or whatever the final number was, after this date.
Not to mention, a good point was made that with contract negotiations typically going 3 years on average this means your only getting a 2% increase from amendable date till approx. 2010 when a new contract is signed?
Correct me if I am wrong, but this is what it seems to be.
Also, future newhires may be a problem if they know they are stuck for this long, maybe they get the job, but I could see them quiting fast if staffing is low, and they work their butts off on reserve.
