Not trying to steal thunder: but PSA recalled 8 on 4 May and 8 more on 15 June. Appox 35-40 still on street. Congrats, Comair!

Comair is a damn fine pilot group that has been beaten up for years.. Glad yall finally get a little good news.

According to a memo posted on EPIC, the first group of recalls is to have training completed by July...no number mentioned. I think the number remaining on furlough wil be 213 assuming the next 100 recalled all accept. I don't think that will happen.

When republic had recalls, they called back everyone and were surprised that not even half accepted. Lot's of guys will have found more to life in other adventures. A win for them, and a win for the guy under them on the list.

What are the recalls for? additional flying or the need to cover lots of flying as a whole base of pilots moves from one base to another? What happens after the base transfer is complete and the summer is over, will those pilots be furloughed again?

We're for now getting some of the mesa flying, plus we are about 500 short staffed

we're getting an extra 200 hours in June, increasing to 1100 hours by November.

I suppose we are @ 500 short, if you consider that we've lost that many pilots since bankruptcy. But we lost a bunch of airplanes, too.
