Is this the final nail in the coffin of Comair? I feel bad for those pilots, if they strike then delta will liquidate comair and lots of pilots will be jobless. I know I would be extremely mad if some sky waitress caused me to lose my job.

So were you born without balls, or did you have them surgically removed?

Dont worry Kooter is just out of school today for Columbus Day. Just ignore him he will be back in High School tomorrow.

Grow a set you P*SSY.

Yup, that sounds like our pilot group, alright. Intimidate, intimidate, intimidate...and then blame someone else.

Rinse, and repeat as necessary to scare all pilots who don't agree with you.

Kinda sounds like management...

Thats right lets fly for those horrible rates and get the pay back next time? P*SSY

Do you all HONESTLY think Comair is going away? We may shrink some more, but we are certainly not going away. Quite believing all of management's propaganda...the SKY IS NOT FALLING! As far as the flight attendants go, the writing was on the wall months ago. It sucks, yes, but this is just one more $hitty chapter in Comair's sham bankruptcy. Peace out!

"sky waitress", how about some tact with that cup of coffee. Unfortunantly DL cannot afford a strike at any of its sontract carriers which includes OH. Even with CVG being "right sized" any disruption is service will cost DL millions a day. RP nor EV would be able to jump in and fly those routes so they would all have to go through ATL as in the first strike and cause major disruptions in the overall operation.

DL still has a very bitter taste in its mouth from the first strike and if another one occures, no matter who initiates it, that just might be the final blow for OH.

Fly Safe...

Um, unless I'm missing something here, OO is SkyWest, who won't be striking any time soon I'm sure.

I believe you meant OH.

Typing to fast ... Thanks

Mgmt already filed a court injunction. It will be a wait and see thing till the NWA FA's injunctions is settled.

Lots of FA's quit I bet.

This couldn't happen at a worse tx. To impose cuts at the beginning of the busy holiday season Nov 15. Either a strike/CHAOS ala NW or massive walk out will not be good at all for DL.

The "sky waitress" isn't causing anything. It is your greedy a s s management.

Comair's flight attendants have so far shown more balls than any other work group. They should be getting the full support of the pilots...we all know who is next.

Out of pure curiosity, why would a FA go to work for a regional? Couldn't they get on with no experience with a major? I imagine they'd be paid more, although I'm really pretty ignorant on the matter. Maybe someone can clue me in.

I've talked with some of our FAs about that. According to them, pay at the majors is comparable to Comair. Our pass benefits with Delta are very good, plus working at Comair gives them the chance to work by themselves instead of with several other FAs, so I think the more independent FAs end up here as well.

Let's face it, all employees at regionals are there because they aren't "major material" as deemed by someone. Pilots fail interviews at majors, majors have massive furlough lists, no college required at regionals, not in a F-16 Guard Unit, cublicle jockey at regional went to St. Cloud State instead of Cornell.

The list is endless as to why someone would accept less than half the pay to do the exact same job
