Could you be more specific? What exactly are pilots doing that is getting them fired? Surely Comair doesnt expect every crew to get along like best friends, do they?

I'd heard of one guy being fired for not making it back to training on Monday morning, but nothing about anyone else...is it possible to be more specific about "attitude"? I would hope that they were pretty extreme cases...

i heard one was let go becuase they didnt resign their seniority from their previous airline after comair had addressed that issue directly with the specific pilot

Yeah, probably was a DAL guy.

It's gonna be pretty rough when we (DAL) start hiring again unless those guys get some sense and get rid of that MEC of theirs. Does Gray Davis mean anything to them? Now there's an example for them to follow.

One guy got into a pissing match with one of our captains. No, Comair does not expect everyone to be best friends, but FO's have to respect the captains authority and not argue with him about every single thing. The above example has been a real problem lately. We have FO's that were previously captains at another airline and do not like being in the right seat. Another new hire was trying to get released from ready reserve. He kept agravating crew scheduling. When crew sched would not give in, he got on a plane and went home anyway.

Now this is a new one to me.

That is disappointing.

What's professional standards' take on the whole thing?

Have the indoc / CRM courses been changed to reflect the problem?

What do you suggest that probationary pilots do to avoid a similar fate?

This hardly seems like an appropriate venue for this discussion. It's bad enough that the rumors are out there, but no one really knows what's correct and what's not.

Just my 2 cents.

No telling what they are looking for. Go figure. 4500 TT, ATP, 3years 121 exp. Not even a nibble on the resume.
