They have nothing to lose and can get better jobs elsewhere, most likely as FAs. I believe they will shut Comair down, and possible take DAL down with them.

Unfortunately, I think thats true. They will bring the company down and then go get a FA job somewhere else. I don't think they understand how much money and work most of us have put into what we do. To be $30,000 in debt just to do what you love to do, and then you get paid peanuts. If only they could understand.

I believe they will settle it, with out a strike. That is based off what I was told by last two flight attendants I have flown with.

does anybody have a link to what the company is proposing or their latest proposal or where the numbers (cuts in salary, etc) are coming from? I don't want hearsay because there's a lot of that going on and it's mainly inaccurate from what I've been told yet no one has been able to point me or show me what really is being offered. Thanks

If only they could understand? How about, if only you could understand? Your statements are full of contradictions. FA's may not have spent as much $ to do what they love to do, but they are in the same boat as you. Why do you think you get paid peanuts? Perhaps if you would have stood up for yourself as the FA's are now trying to, you would not be making peanuts.

You don't realize that Delta and Comair managements may have already decided to dismantle Comair. A few million in crew costs do not an airline make or break. Maybe they figure if they pay less than minimum wage, they can blame their disaster on the employees who walked out.

I can't believe you're implying the FA's should work for even less than peanuts so you can keep your job! Talk about continuing the race to the bottom in exchange for "job security." I think maybe the FA's can teach you a thing or two.
