uniforms

Does Comair pay for uniforms in any way shape or form? I looked in the contract and I could not find anything about that.

No. Tha pilots pay for their own. Most just have uniforms payroll deducted in $25 increments per pay period. I think the maximum amount that can be payroll deducted is $800. Trust me its no big deal.

Uniform Allowance

There is 4.58 added to each paycheck under the UNIFORM ALLOWANCE column. So we do receive a little money for uniforms.

That's only 9.16/mo so it does suck though. But it is something.

Comair pays a uniform maintenance allowance of $110 a year, $4.58 a pay period. Doesn't completely defray the cost of uniforms, but helps over the long run.
