only 1 Oct. class?

Does anyone have any knowledge of how many people they are placing in each class. Also, I thought they were having another class after the 15th of this month. All second hand of course.

I'm in the deep end and don't know how to swim. I have quite a mean dog paddle going though.

Classes are expected to be smaller for now on. There was 6 in my class from Aug. We were told that this is how big the classes will continue to be until more growth is announced.

I am furloughed 121 (ACA...soon to be Mesa...soon to be a LCC...soon to be ...?) and have been trying to get an interview at Comair for a LONG time... any of you guys in the pool have any advice? Did you guys all have someone walk in a resume for you? If they are slowing down is it worth trying to register for the Dallas, TX Career fair (AIR Inc.) in Jan in hopes that they are still coming? Any ideas? THanks... I NEED a new job!

walked in

I had a friend hand walk my resume to one of the Chief Pilots.... he wrote a note on it and had my friend deliever it to HR. Told my friend to contact him personally if I didn't get a call within a month. I know at least 1 guy (similar experience/resume) from my last company got a call by emailing a resume to a CP. My advice, attack at every angle with full guns ablaze....

rumor, but I heard they would still be taking a respectable number of pilots next year... so, it can't hurt to meet them face to face at the Air inc fair.

LexAir,

My experience was very similar to marqmarq's. After having a class date canceled at CoEx and then never hearing anything from ACA for 6 months while in their pool I asked a friend from college to walk in my resume to Comair. It took almost a year to get the call for the interview and he really went to bat for me. After countless attempts of walking in my resume to HR he finally approached the chief pilot and I eventually landed the interview, thanks to his efforts. Stay with it. If my interview experience is any indication of what the company is like I'm glad some previous opportunities didn't work out. Good luck.

Welcome Aboard...!!

(Tubelo)
Welcome aboard guys and gals of the Nov. class (es).

You will see once you get here, your wait was worth it, class act comapny.

It don't matter how long you waited (just ask me), from day one they are going to go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and when they tell you they want you here, just go ahead and believe it, they really do.

Once again, welcome.

Rich!;)
