Comair class dates

Has anyone who interviewed at Comair in July or August been given a class date yet? If so, please include your interview date and class start date. Thanks.

By the way, for those that are in the "pool" and waiting for class dates, has anyone done anything to follow up on the welcome aboard letter, besides framing it and hanging over the bed...ie. calling sj back?

I called back and thankfully got her voice mail. The message very clearly stated that don't call us we'll call you.

You got lucky....

They get a lot of calls about class dates and it anoys the he!! out of them, you want the secret to p!$$ them off, call and ask; now if you really want to get on their bad side.... Insist. (same goes for messages left on voice mail).

Believe them, when they say they'll call, whenever your turn comes around they will call.

There are two classes on Sept. one on the 15th and one on the 24th, to my understanding both are full, and it seems like nobody else form those classes visits this board, cuz I asked in an earlier thread and nobody answered, nor anyone else has mentioned a thing.

When did they interview is beyond me, but the classes are sure full.

I wouldn't sweat the class date right now......I'm sure it will happen in Oct or Nov for most of you......just wait until they make contact, then take it from there......keep in mind, over the holidays, there might be a slow down in classes.......other than that, welcome to Comair.......for the most part, you will enjoy it.......

Hi folks:
For all that interviewed on the 19th of august; has anyone thought of ideas for accomodations past the initial 7 days payed for by CMR? Crash pads, renting an apartment etc etc.....

I interviewed Jul 24. Heard a guy who interviewed 23 Jul got a call for the 24 Sep class.

I have also heard that finding a crashpad or apt is pretty easy once you get there. Apparently there is a board that has tons of accomodations posted.

Crash Pads in CVG

For those of you with Comair class dates:

Welcome aboard! You'll enjoy ground school. Don't sweat the crash pad for now. There is indeed a board with many crash pad offerings. You'll have no problem finding a place. There are tons of apartments nearby that give good rates. When I went through, about half my class ended up in a three bedrm apartment...(2 -3 per room). It was cozy but it sure helped for studying, etc.

Bottom line, don't worry about it...and Congrats, you'll enjoy working at Comair.
