Heard second hand from an FO at Mesa that Ornstein announced that he is planning to pick up Comair at an asset sale. Apparently, he discussed his plans at a new hire luncheon last week.

Perhaps Delta is planning to divest itself of the only remaining wholly owned regional to focus on mainline survival. It certainly didn't take Delta long to ditch ASA, and ASA is better off as part of Skywest.

Believe it when you see it, until then ignore it.

Now that you've heard it second hand and told us, it becomes third hand.
