Comair 70-seat Classes Cancelled

Just announced yesterday, all classes for the 70 seater that were scheduled to start in July are indefinately cancelled. I understand (though have not read the paperwork myself) that there will be a rebid, so if you happened to be one of the few junior manned to the airplane, you dodged a bullet.

The bid was cancelled in its entirety. They will announce a new bid when the strike is over and delivery dates can be confirmed.

According to a Reuters report (found on the CBC web site), workers will vote, Friday, on an arbitrator-recommended settlement. Canadian analysts think the Bombardier strike will be over soon.
