You want a real paint job? Spray with gray primer, turn loose 40 kids with greasy hands to leave prints all over... paint "Navy" down the side and call it a Hornet scheme.

There usually is plenty of greasy hand marks on it...mostly my own. Since I occasionally fly this thing to my Air Guard unit, I don't think the Navy thing would work. I am thinking about adding a travel pod for my golf clubs and then the whole Navy thing would certainly not work!

Are ya kidding? You know how many sets of clubs there are on a carrier?!?!

I have gone tdy several times and watched as the legends in thier own minds put golf clubs in thier travel pods, stuffed cloths in the back of the canopy on a F-16C. I always got a laugh out of it.

Ahh - now I see why you were asking that stupid question about fighters not flying in low weather conditions. I thought you were actually curious and being sincere...however I see you have a bone to pick with fighter guys. Your little "legends in their own minds" quote says it all. :puke: Well, I'll take flying my F-16 and sticking my clothes in the back of my canopy anyday buddy. It was nice getting my choice of airplane to fly as well as my other fighter buds who finished in the top of the class.

Again, best of luck flying the AWACS and the RJ.

A legend in his own mind.
