Who cares when you have a fantastic avatar like that to look at?3GreenNoRed said:What college are you talking about?
Are all of these aircraft devoted to training students? Somehow, I suspect the King Air might be to haul the college president around and that students may not be given real opportunities to fly it.FL530 said:Here is what this college has:
16 Cessna 172 Skyhawks, bought new in 2000
Cessna 172 RGs
2 Beech Duchesses
Piper Super Cub
Several gliders
Hot-air balloon
Piper seneca
Beech baron
King Air A90
Sound good? Are these good planes to train in? THANKS
I have ridden in hot-air balloons twice, long before I learned how to fly airplanes. I did it about twenty-four years ago during my radio days. A lighter-than-air pilot heard us give traffic reports during our morning drive newsblock. I was asked to come aboard and give traffic reports from the balloon. It was fun. I wished that I knew more about flying airplanes back then so I could have had a greater appreciation of my flight. I was doused with the champagne after the flight.52vincent said:Come on there have to be some pilots out there with their lighter than air rating. Oh, Bobby you need to drive about 70 miles south this Labor Day for some ballooning fun. See you there!!!!!!
