Colgan Air is hiring into the 1900. The next class will probably start in late summer.

Colgan does have a PVD SAAB base.

If you're looking for a SAAB, you'll probably have to wait till the end of the summer. If you want the 1900 again, you might not have to wait long at all. With your times and ATP, upgrade in the Beech wouldn't be too long either.

Are they still hiring 1900 capt's? And, how long is it to get Manassas (sp?) as your base?

Was told today that the class of new hires that is currently going through will be the last class for a while. They have had 3 or 4 classes go through in the last 8 weeks.... about 40 newhires in total.

HEF is a very senior Beech base. I wouldn't count on going there for a while.

Im a ways away from really needing to know but...

How tough is it to get a FA spot at BHB? I would imagine its not a high demand base and it happens to be home for me. I sort of have my eye on it as a possibility for the future.

Any thoughts?

Sorry, no FAs in BHB. The SAABs don't go in there and the FA in the Beech is the FO.

But if you meant FO, then it's not very difficult to get as an FO. At least right now.

Sorry I did mean FO. Not sure why I put the A there. I was thinking of the Beech not the Saab.

Yeah I would think that on an average day not many people are looking to be based out of Northern or Downeast Maine.
