I read on a different board that Colgan is hiring Non PFTers in the Beech now, and only PFTing in the Saab.. Any current Colganites have info on this??

PFT no more!

2000 TT multi engine Commercial = no pft, I guess they ran out of "qualified" PFT applicants and need to get some people who can spend 6 mos to a year in the right seat and upgrade, a 400 hr PFT is going to take at least 2 years if not longer to get the 2500tt required for upgrade. And its Beech and Saab.

Conference call today:

Hiring Non PFT with at least 1500 TT and 500 ME and a recommendation from a current pilot will be helpful. Sill hiring PFT from RAA but those guys won’t be eligible for upgrade for two years after hire. Purpose for hiring Non PFT is to be able to upgrade within a year. Not a high paying job like the other regionals, but if you want to roll up your selves and do some real flying this is the place.

Oh yea, and if its broke or not working properly, write it up!
