George is now scheduled to be Hung in Manassas on Sept 13 2006. A private court has found him guilty of MUNTINY and attempting to alter the status quo which was established in 1973 for pay and parts. May God bless his turbo-prop soul.

As your attorney,
I stongly reecomend you take mescaline!
Good god man, the carpet's on fire!

When I was at CJ there were two "underground" union attempts. Back then though the loudest voices came from guys for whom Colgan was their first airline.
Folks, for those of you who have never been at a union carrier, be careful what you wish for.
Most guys were under the impression that by voting in a union that they wer going to hold the company hostage for what they want but not give up anything in return, that's just not true.
I.E. Want more minimum days off? Plan on trading that for more company favored junior manning rules.

Just look at the disposition of some of the other unionized regionals and see exactly what is happening to them.
1. Junior manning at right at the door of the aircraft.
2. non union alter ego airlines (hey, no worries about that happening here, so really where is there to go but up?
3. Your union is only as strong as your MEC. Look at our new TA over at Gemini!

It takes awhile to get a union vote organized, then plan on around two years of hellish working conditions while contract negotiations are going on.
Historically the turnover there has been much to great to organize any kind of union organization anyway.
Just fly your time and move on, that's what they want you to do anyway.
