I am glad that the Pilot Group is out there helping us pilots by looking out for our best interest without bombarding us. One of my biggest IRRITATIONS now is every day I get home i get one more piece of mail from ALPA, with atleast one more card if not more, even in a few different colors. What i dont understand is why do they keep bothering us. Being a rather junior person here in this company, i came here to fly for a strong regional airline that offered the fastest upgrade so I can move on to my dream job. Initially when the union drive kicked off, people were all over the place trying to get people to sign up. The thing i dont understand is of the list that Colgan ALPA commitee members, where are the other people who initially bothered the hell out of us. For instance where is:
Jon Oates?
Chris Cumello (he went to Air Tran)
Jeff Panhas
Blair Wardrop (moved on to a Cargo Company)
Scott Fitzpatrick
Kirk Armstrong (he went to SWA) Good Job by the way!!
Lisa(Mona) Gonzalves (she went to SWA) Good job you too!!
Of there people who were trying to get people to join, well 4 MOVED ON!!! I thought they were trying to make a difference and better my life. Guess not!!!
I am tired of the mail and i dont want to read the magazine.. I guess these people who moved on are gonna cotniue to take care of my best interest at their new companies, do you think so??

Whoever wrote this being so JR you need to SHUT your mouth. Since you have been here "so long" you should know that without ALPA we are screwed.

Also, I am sick of getting the Colgan Air letters every week. What a bunch of BS.

Since when has Colgan ever sent us ANYTHING about ANYTHING in the mail until now. Also, when has Colgan done anything positive for the pilot group.

With some time the person who wrote the letter above will understand after he gets "his or hers" from screw scheduling.

I support ALPA because they care more than Colgan about our interests, our wages, our fair treatment, our insurance, our rest, our FARS, our sick policy, our commuter clauses, our lawyer fees, our grievances.....

What does Colgan care about? "Move the Rig" "Don't lift the rock if you know there is snake under it" "You can fly you are legal the computer says" "Why are you sick" "I need a note" "You are flying the morning shift call me back" "We changed your schedule you will do this ..... fill in the blank" " You are going to rent a car and drive to XYZ" "Don't worry about just fly" "Leave the people we need the completion factor" "You need to ferry to MNZ and then overnight and then do the whole day tomorrow morning" "We don't owe you that" "Sorry, not over guarantee well then you don't get credit for Holiday Pay" "Your schedule changed to accommodate an IOE student your on a 12 hour reserve with no credit from your original pairing sorry" "Can I have my vacation.... We will c"

And the list goes on and on and on.... Stick that up your anti-ALPA ASS you newbie..
