Union help???

Why would a family of Democrats be Anti-Union?

That is a fine question. One that can and should be asked of the longest serving member of the Virginia State Senate. I am sure that he didn't get re-elected time and again for 40 years without help.

Or maybe...because their Pinnacle bosses are telling them to be? That it will do very nicely for their bottom line...

Anyone know where to find info on campaign contributions and supporters for the senator? (afl-cio)

about 6 or so months ago, this subject came up. some one listed a link to his voting record. and, if memory serves me, it was about 80% or more pro union. so it's out there, but i'm too lazy to look it up.

i bet if it got out how his company is reacting to ALPA, he would run into a little heat in the next election. good for the goose...

money talks.

Hypocrite?

Interesting and a wee bit hypocritical, no? I would venture to bet that if you looked up his campaign contributors that you would find many labor unions.

So, unions good for the campaign and the state of Virginia, but not for your company?

Maybe Mike can put out a memo explaining this to us... BTW The Colgans signed EMPLOYMENT CONTRACTS with Pinnacle and we are forced to sign TRAINING CONTRACTS with Colgan, but they don't think us having a contract with them as to work rules is in our/their best interest!! Hypocrites!!

He doesn't support unions because he's dealt with them and their corruption for 40 years. Not saying anything about ALPA but unions are inherently corrupt. They breed corruption and only the people at the top get fatter.

Dude check out the links posted before, he does support unions, that's the whole point. Come on now, your smarter then that

Just another example of expediency winning out over values. Or another case of NIMBY.

Easy.

There are democrats that are voters then there are democrat elitists. Democrat elitists start empires of their own by rum running, real-estate scams, ambulance chasing, Personality and running sweatshops like Colgan.

Unions are not inherently corrupt. Unions naturally become mirror images of the management teams they work with (or against).

The old adage is remarkably true. "Management will get the Union they deserve."
