why? it's fun. The place is pretty good. We are still hiring, and the PFT is on the decline as of late. Fleet count is 14 beeches and 13 saabs. 3 C models beeches left....and that number seems to be a sticking point for the rest of the year. the Saab number is supposed to still grow. Rochester and Manchester open as bases this month for the saab. Someone posted an experience on aviation interviews that we will hire 100 this year and may be getting jets. And the stickers in the maintance cans about how many mechanicals we hide from the FAA by 9am all seem to be mostly peeled off. Or at least very hard to read.
My guess is that Colgan will need to hire more than that to keep their commitments. They will also have to hire street captains again because senior FO's are bailing every week and there will be very few experienced FO's to cover the need.
