USA Today article says that they are pulling out of PQI.

I almost wish that were true, then george dubya could come down and be based with me :)D)...but I am pretty sure PQI is still making money.

How's hanging out with all those wing house girls down there in TPA?

I heard you need proof to be credible on these boards. Do you have any proof? Or did you just hear this at Hooters??????

Colgan is approaching United and USAirways about increasing the fees on the pro-rated Saab flying. If they cannot work out a deal, then Phildo has said they will look to reducing or terminating these agreements at around the 3rd to 4th Q. There are a number of Saab leases that are up at the wnd of this year also. More Q's won't arrive till 2Q 2009, temporary furloughs are very possible, never think your safe.

Pilot action can cause many of the mtc. issues on this aircraft, I've witnessed it first hand. From FO's pressing buttons when they shouldn't or moving the flaps with no hyd. pressure to captains feathering the condition levers prior to hyd cont. being shut off. The biggest is starting engines on GPU with the batteries off then disconecting the GPU, big ol' "POWERPLANT" non resettable message.

There, I feel better, thank you.

Holy ********************! Are you kidding me? Well other than pushing the wrong buttons and not knowing how to fly their plane, things are great? Are you ********************ing serious? Don't the captains have type ratings? Maintenance reliability is better once people know which buttons to push? I am speechless

Oh puh-leeaase.... Every airline has growing pains when they get a new aircraft on property.

XJT is a great company (no sarcasm intended), but I'm sure there was some buffoonery when you guys first got the ERJs.

I agree with you; I've never made a mistake either.

Yes, because the aircraft was crap because Embraer was near BK when we purchased them - and our ops engineering department saved them and that airplane. This is why we still have patents on the plane. The engines were shutting down on us - and not because we were pushing all the wrong buttons, thank you very much. Not knowing how to start an engine properly is far from "never making a mistake."
