I'm just wondering how cohesive the pilot group represented by the Allied Pilot's Association is.

Are you serious or just looking for another bash AA/APA pilots thread?

Seriously...

AA

Well, let's see. As I understand it, Hunter may not get re-elected, the challenger is a bit more hardline, etc. I suspect the troops might be a bit divided on more than a few issues.

As far as the AA/APA bashing, why would anyone want to bash them?

Well, I would explain my feelings, but judging by your last sentence it would not be worth it.

Nice try though.

AA

In then end why do you care, I thought you would be super happy if the troops were divided.

Relax, I believe there'd be nothing new uncovered there.

Forget I asked.

We'll see if there's any resolve in the upcoming weeks.

Obvious statement: when times are prosperous unions are cohesive but when times are tough unions are divided. It's been a long time since times were prosperous for anyone but SW/FDX/UPS.

Based on the Curr Pos in stlflyguy's profile - "Suing ALPA for $1.2B and making great progress!" - looks like he is another twAA'er

What a doooooooshbag !!! Get over it already !!!

I'm part of that class-action lawsuit against ALPA as well. It takes years to work its way through the court system. We don't "get over it" because wrongs need to be righted no matter how long it takes. Surely if you ever procreate you'd want to pass on that life-lesson.

Hey, Doug, bite me! Be nice or I'll start siding with the General, FDJ and 737pylt... ;) TC

Hey Doug,

Chuck you, Farley.

AMF,

stlflyguy

p.s. to all the others posting in this thread, my apologies for going off on DP, who, now that I think of it, needs a DP.

Just because you're into getting DP's, doesn't mean others are.

I'm not saying that AA didn't sodomize you guys and I am sympathestic to your cause. Just quit whining on public message boards and let the judge decide what justice is. Stirring the pot on FI doesn't do anybody any good.

Good Luck and try to get past your hate of the nAAtives - it'll keep you from losing your hair and having a heart attack.

I'm not really in to the whole AA/APA V TWA/ALPA debate, but I will say this:

Good luck in negotiations and get your ********************ing money back!

"Whining" or discussing or talking is what the internet is all about! So if you don't like it, why don't YOU leave!
