I'm looking for the real skinny on Coke. Could this be a decent career job? I'm also researching Home Depot, BellSouth, and Cox (all at FTY), or anything well established at PDK. I'm looking for FACTS, not rumors. Preferably from employees. PM's are welcome! Thanks!

If what you are saying is true, then a lot has changed recently about what is considered competitive mins to get hired there. Which would make since if they have really had a shakedown there. But can you tell me anything about QOL, pay, benefits, upgrade, etc? And there is a rumor that they could sell off the whole deparment and use NetJets in the future. Anyone else heard this?

With uncle Warren sitting on the board of directors...would you think there was a push to go fractional with the trouble they have had over the years? I bet so...

NetJets is used as an augmentation by some large corporations (GE is one example). I don't know of any large flight departments thay have converted entirely to fractionals. Fractionals are used mostly by the smaller operators that cannot otherwise afford or justify a jet of their own. The rumor about Coke converting to NetJunk has been around for a while. I believe that even with all of their problems, Coke has more pride than that.

AETNA FLT OPS had a F2000, 560XL, and 3 S-76 C+ Helicopters. Chucked the whole Flt. Dept. for quarter shares in a CX, 800XP and an Ultra, with one Helo kept but managed by EJM. Last I heard they are happy too.

In the Gulfstream family the same thing happened to Dresser, Freeport McMoran, and Crystal, to name just a few. Qualified pilots were offered jobs at NJI.

Does your screen name mean you work for Al and Hal at EJM?
