I agree with Toy Soldier. I'd only mention two provisos.

One was, I think, implicit in Toy Soldier's remarks. Other than spins and perhaps stalls, there's rarely a reason to go about 3000' AGL for maneuvers. Although there's nothing wrong with cruising below 3000 AGL, or dong maneuvers above, there's a lot of good reasons to keep maneuvers and cruise flight separate, especially in busy airspace.

The other is related: If you do maneuvers above 3000', try to keep away from airways. :eek:
