RAH does. The call it a "no-fault" policy. Doesn't matter if you are sick, lazy, or your house burned down. They are all an "occurance"

Nothing new. Every airline does it to some degree. Even Mesaba at the top of their game in the late 90's had an "occurence" policy. Lazy or deathbed, more than 5 in a year could get you fired.
Needs to stop.

Name an airline that doesn't... I'm glad to see this horse sht in the public eye.

Comair it is like 20 + in 6 months or something like that. So I would say Comair doesn't have this policy. Never has.

What other regionals have a punitive sick policy?

Piedmont. And if they aren't happy with you calling in sick but realize that you were, in fact sick, they will call you on the carpet for "the way you called in sick".

That way, they can't be in trouble for saying you weren't sick.
