It is legal to log PIC as SIC.

FAR 1 PIC is the captain time. The captain logs all time as PIC regardless of whether he is the PF.

FAR 61 allows you to log PIC time if you are appropriately rated (typed) and sole manipulator of the controls.

As an FO, I log the entire flight as SIC. For legs where I am the PF, I have a separate column for "FAR 61 T(urbine) PIC." This is totally legal and I have talked to several recruiters with this in my logbook and on my resume and they never said anything negative about it. On the other hand, it didn't help much either.

Ditto. You know, a CFI can log all dual given as PIC even if they never touch the controls. Even if they're instructing someone with a valid certificate who can legally act as PIC both pilots can still log it. Is this unacceptable to you too? If you were a CFI you never did this then right? Some employers do ask that you don't include CFI PIC time on your application. Does that mean you shouldn't log it all? No, you log what is legal and when filling out an application you put the time in the way they want it.

Back to the original ?. Have the upgrades at Shares slowed down with the new payrates? I'd imagine less people are leaving now, at least that's been my experience at Flex.
