You should have disability insurance and savings and maybe learn new skills if you can't fly any more. Why should company pay you when you don't work there any more? The company is not your mommy.

you're the reason a company gets the union it deserves....ya know management blames you right? I still have friends there and they told me who you are.

This is exactly the very reason I want nothing to do with a Union. Different company now, but the same chest pounding the world owes me people must follow me around job after job. Union folks post sh$t like this on a public forum, just to say, look we have it soooo!!! bad here at Citationair and try to justify their weak existence. Thanks to you Union folks, now the nonunion office people have better disability insurance then the pilots and they deserve all of it. Just maybe, that's because you voted in a union and now everything is on the table now. As far as pilots being terminated for being on disability is an over site on Textron's part that is being worked out. It is a blanket policy that pilots fell into when we merged into their system. It wasn't an attack directly toward disabled Citationair pilots. But thanks to the Union, what should be an easy fix now will become a long drawn out negotiating mess! Hell, maybe now they will demand an 8 and 6 schedule in order to get what we already had, Thanks!!! Teamsters

On my last tour I spoke very frank with some NJ crews while sitting standby and I must say while we had hotels in 4 hours they were sitting for 8 hours with a leg at the end just because. I asked them why they voted the Teamsters off the property and every single one of them said for the money we were paying at their size, Teamsters and yes Teamsters did nothing for them. Hell, one of them said,"I don't drive a Kenworth." That gives me such confidence in this process. Their own pilots were doing all the leg work and it was when they fired their MEC and replaced them things started to get done, no thanks to the Teamsters.

I can't wait for the Airlines to start hiring so we can loose most of the foolish pilots and move on to the culture we once had. Just my 2.5 cents...

Listen up dip********************. This has been addressed in this thread ad nauseum. No one expects the company to keep paying you. They expect that they would hold your position if you get better and get your medical back. Ergo, not firing you.

You must be drunk or the stupidest guy I have ever seen on here.

if I can't fly, after a reasonable amount of time I would expect the company to give the job to somebody else, who would be thrilled, by the way. Why is it compassionate to keep a job open for me, while denying somebody else the job? That pilot wants to be employed just as much as I do.

Nice change of subject Dipsh!t. I put up a quote, where you are defending the company for someone being paid for being on disability. Then, I show you where that point has been discussed repeatedly, the person wasn't being paid at all. Then, you change the whole subject, like we wouldnt notice, and act like you weren't a retard in the first place. Defend your first stupid post, then move on would you? Do you want me to quote it up here again?

You need a course in logic.

I don't understand your anger. Is compassion for the pilot who replaces me less important than compassion for me holding my job? My replacement wants to feed his family too, it seems to me.

G if you don t understand the anger that people feel toward you......you sir truly are closed minded . Or your just on the payrole for management.....
