if I can't fly, after a reasonable amount of time I would expect the company to give the job to somebody else, who would be thrilled, by the way. Why is it compassionate to keep a job open for me, while denying somebody else the job? That pilot wants to be employed just as much as I do.

I don't understand your anger. Is compassion for the pilot who replaces me less important than compassion for me holding my job? My replacement wants to feed his family too, it seems to me.

I will ask again, why the anger? Why not just answer my questions? Do you believe anybody who thinks as I do has to be management? Then you should spend some time with the GLC folks.

Why is this thread still going. Citationair went to Textron and it's now back to 24 months like before, after explaining the differences in piloting and manufacturing. Simple oversight in the realignment of our company with theirs.

I have yet to see any official retraction/update/publication from the company. Have they retracted the letters they already sent?

I was told it's back to 24 months. If those pilots exceeded 24 months, it's at the company's discretion. As for those pilots who got letters, did they past the 24 months? to be honest, I don't have that kind of information.
