Hi all. Hate to keep asking so many questions about CS but I want
to get all the answers before the interview, so I won't have too many
to ask.
#1. Any vacation time at CS, if so how much?
#2. Also, if I wear a black suit for the interview, will it hurt my chances?
I hate to spend the money on another suit but if blue is what I should
be wearing, i'll throw it on a credit card. Thanks again....

To answer your first question, you get one week vacation on your off week (total of three weeks off). Second, its not the suit that's going to get you the job....!!! you can go into the office BUTT ASS NAKED, give a firm hand shake, look whom ever in the eye (VERY IMPORTANT) present yourself in a professional manner, AND STILL get the job. DONT SWEAT THE SUIT (unless its a swing'in 70's baby blue). AWSOME company to work for BEST OF LUCK during the interview.

1 week (7 days) vacation years 1-4, 2 weeks after that. The 7 days must be taken in one block which would be your normal work week. So you would have 7-off,7-vacation,7-off. Essentially you end up being off 21 days.

I don't think the color of the suit matters. Just go in and be yourself.

Wow, that vacation policy sucks compared to Flops and NJ (don't know about flex). Do the days at least carry over to the next year if you don't use them?

So glad to hear, no new suit is needed. The credit cards are already
smokin. So, if I came in w/ a baby blue suit and belted out, "what's new *************************cat?", that would hurt my chances??? C'mon, I'm a good singer.

21 days off a month and then after 4 years, 21 days a month off two times
a year is a pretty sweet deal. I feel like a teacher already. I'm packing up the family, we're hitting the road and doing some RVing. Grand Canyon, here we come. Man, I hope I get this job..... Thanks again for all the info..

wrknstiff and RNObased, what's the vacation time like at NJA?
Your vacation time might be better but I tell you what, from
what I hear, the upgrade time is better at CS and you get a hell
of a lot more domiciles to choose from. Don't get me wrong , I will take
the job that is offered to me first. But honestly, NJA is taking their sweet
time getting back to applicants and I think CS has more to offer because
of quicker upgrades and more domiciles. I don't want to start a war between
who is better but personally, I am praying I get CS.
