Jack has good rumor for now - hopefully it will be good news for everyone (including poolies) eventually.

Contract (& ballot) in hand

How you doin'

Got the contract and ballot in the mail today so I guess we furloughees are going to have a say. Interesting sheet of changes though; check the one in the scope clause.

The info on the ibt 747 site has been proven correct (vote due back by 10/9). Just hope they can be counted as quickly as announced considering how much longer (than announced) it took to get out the mailing.

So, here's hoping that Jack's news is proven true and there's enough ice in the tub for Ds&Es mid-October!

Ok folks - heres the deal - THIS IS NOT RUMOR - a fellow CHQ furloughee was called back for a October 1st date. I do not know if that means that he will be doing IOE (I believe that he is done IOE actually) or whether he will be on the line as of OCT. 1st - but he has gotten a letter and been called back.

He is immed. above our class in seniority. That means that the next call back at CHQ will be one of the CHQ 6/30/03 new hire class pilots.

I have no idea re: the poolies and our class but I will post when I hear anything.

Our class should be getting calls for Doors and Exits soon and I would imagine that at the same time or at a time to follow immediately thereafter, the poolies will be gettin called.

If any poolie or fellow furloughee gets called or a letter - please post below.

It should (and could) be a phone call to offer employment and Rosa will ask you what classdate will work (for those pooled) best.

No promise though - things have certainly changed since July.

Swimmin' in the pool

I haven't checked in to this website in a while. Well, I guess I'm not the only one holding my breath for a CHQ job.
I called Rosa in mid August and she said there were about 25 of us waiting for class dates. I doubt that there has been more interviewing since then, therefore the # in the pool has remained constant (of course until someone drowns, or gives up, takes their beachball and goes home).

King., Silver., Reject., Slow., Heavy., and the rest of y'all waiting, maybe we'll see you in a class this year... who knows.

Since you fellas are in contact with Rosa, I was just wondering if you would help me out.

Here goes.............

Sent a resume to CHQ back in Mar.-Apr. got a call 2 or so weeks later from her. Here's where the problem is. I just had that phone account switched to business blah blah blah. 2 MORE weeks later the phone problem was fixed and I discovered I had a 2 week old message from Rosa on my voicemail asking if I wanted to come in for a Apr. 30th(I think) interview date. I called back immediately and for the last approx. 6 months I have not been able to get ahold of her. I have 2 buddies there who have walked in an updated resume with a LOR attached. Anything else I can do?

I know things a on hold right now but as far as I've been reading and told, you boys should be goin' nuts on hiring real soon. Thanks for any help in advance.
