CA stuck in Lav. A passenger tried to help by notifying FO, unfortunately by knocking on flight deck door, but FO thought this was an attempted breach and notified ATC. Nothing really, but a funny story nonetheless.

I was wondering the same thing. Being on the Saab we don't have to use that procedure too often. Funny that the rule they put in for security backfired a bit. At least if the guy was a terrorist knocking on the cockpit door he would have had to go through the FA in order to take over control of the aircraft.

Once the TSA gets hold of this, it'll be a bloodbath. It could extend to the CHQ training department for not emphasizing security in recurrent.

it seems to me like the level video they showed at Chautauqua contained examples from an expressjet sim or something detailing the levels.

everyone knows you can't comeback from a 4...if you didn't think that review your GOM/FOM for details.

and yes, we were all sleeping...but you should be able to learn that stuff while you are asleep.

Probably thought that would prove to the FO it was "legit." However, how is the FO to know if CA willingly offered the password or was forced to?
