Depends on your base, CMH is not really at all commutable. ORD is, and there are some lines that are out of IND that appear to be commutable.

that probly depends on how mad everyone gets now that your company stole expressjets flying. You better be a smooth talker like me son. Jump seat'n is like pick'n up a sweet disco lady my friend. Its all in the lines

HAHA, that guy in the Avatar was one of the head instructors where some of us used to work. He thought he was a pretty smooth talker. At one point he refered to himself as "silk".

What exactly makes a base/line commutable?

Having late show times on the first day and early end times on the last day so you can make your commute to and from work on those days rather than having to fly in the night before etc....

Commutable schedules allow you to commute the day the trip starts and the day the trip ends. At least one end of the trip.

Example. Lets take me for example. I live in CLT and I'm based in CMH.

My trip tommorow has a 0705 show time, which means I have to fly to CMH tonight. I finsh up my trip Sunday night at 2345; which means I won't be going home until Monday morning. Because there are no flights that get me to CMH by 0705 or leave CMH for CLT after 2345.

Ouch, nothing worse than a 4-day trip requiring 6 calendar days to complete.

Way hot daughters...........I'd hit that.

MC if I remember right you'd happily (granted after a few beers) take much less quality home than Whim's girls.

Hey 8HP, When can we expect to see you on "Faces of Aviation" :-)

Hope things are well over there.
