Just wondering - I will be in Shanghai for the NBAA airshow in August and would appreciate any advise / recommendations regarding places to see while we are there.

Yeah,
Dress comfortably; it's really hot there.
Don't drive, use cabs and/or car services to get around (you'll see why).
The Bundt is pretty neat, maybe better at night.
Old town Shanghai was neat; it even has a freaking Dairy Queen.
If you need a new suit get one in China. A custom fit and tailored suit there will run yoiu about $300 U.S.

Good place to do your christmas shopping done. For women try pearl city. And there is a big open air market that sells just about everything.
