I filled out a couple of ASAPS because of this situation but I found it amusing how smug the controller and pilot were. Taxing out one afternoon in Atlanta for a 27R departure, it was one of the times when they switched back to everyone in line having to verbalize their first fix on the SID. Delta asked why this procedure was back in place and the controller said, it was Smiley, "its not because of you guys…its due to one of the…others". I'm almost positive it was the Delta 73 in front of us. Well, they cleared him for T/O and I kid you not they turned to the north instead on the south. The controller asked for their first fix, the F/O keyed the mic to say stand the CA cut him off. One of our ASA pilots keyed up…"you were saying?"
