4 years ago when I left my previous employer I was flying a Cheyenne II as a full time salaried pilot making 50K/yr. However, I was also sitting in the right seat of an LR60 about 75 hours a year also. I was with them almost 4.5 years.

Hope this helps.

I just left a Cheyenne 2 flying job making $47,000 per year in the Mid-Atlantic region. I was on call 24/7 and they made me spend time in the office in the mornings. I'm fixing to charge $250/day for pilot services, considering $150 for less than 4 hour pickup or dropoff trips. (figure I can save the company my daily rate simply by being creative in where I tanker fuel from) :) I think I'm being a little too cheap, but they have already paid for my recurrent training through Feb. I was with them for 2 years.

I don't know what area of the country you are in....however I know a couple of years ago the daily rate for a C421 pilot in the D.C area was $300-350 and this is obviously a step down from the cheyenne.

Hope that helps.

Just to add on Busflyer's point, the day rate for a 340 or 421 in the Austin area is also between $300-350 plus expenses.
