I thought so. Being of the videogame generation, I had no idea what a "gam" is/was. The answer, brought to you by Urban Dictionary.com:

Would hair that big violate the carry on bag dimensions? Silly me of course it would!
 
Those big-hair FAs should have used glow in the dark hair spray, so during an evacuation passengers just have to follow the glowing orb of hair

Yeah, and they have since cut off all that hair and now it's their a$$es that violate the carry-on baggage dimensions!
