Also, it was mentioned on another thread that it's possible Republic could be getting 75 E170's. If that's a reality, then the 59 other E170's have to go somewhere. That would be good news for many people looking for jobs.

not quite following you here, help?????

I'm not quite following here either. Clearly he's taking 75 and subtracting the 16 United jets from that and coming up with 59. I'm not sure where the 75 came from though... probably some post with someone being a smartass.. and he just ran off on his own train of thought..... beats me.

Greed!!!!!!!!!!

In your companies greed to get more flying, you are missing one big point both shuttle America and CHQ will be part of the two worst airlines in the states, United and US airways. There is a reason why ACA is leaving the United express program, it has developed into a race to the bottom over there where the lowest bidder gets the most flying!!!(MESA, Skywest) United has proven time and time in the past that it is not interested in any regional just who can fly the cheapest that is a plain fact!! So what does that say about your airline!! Talk to the guys at Air Wisky and see what they have to say about United and there new contract with them. I guess its ok because you guys will upgrade and get to fly for a major right? MESA's influence continues, the cancer continues to grow!!

lazy8 ... so let me get this light shedding of yours right.

You'll never make more than 100k as a CPT (flying same size airplanes as you would for a mojor for 200k), never will you get to the majors, and you'll pretty much be a commuter pilot for the rest of your life driving your little 170. Wow, this is great, where do I sign up?
