Does anyone know if Chatauqa is hiring for the MCO base and if they are do they require you to resign your seniority if furloughed? Thanks

I've been at CHQ for 4 years. I think MCO is going to go very junior since most of the planes will be the 135's (lower payscale)
4 year capt rate on the 145 is $55.68 and on the 135 (I believe)is $49. Great company, lots of bases and rumors of 70 seaters.

Not to be mean, you may wanna check your spelling of the airline if your sending in your stuff. It is spelled, Chautauqua, just FYI, CYA. Anyone heard anything more about interviews. CYA

Hey avratdwc--people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw rocks, ya know? Here's hoping your flying skills are sharper than your grammar. (Not to be mean or anything.)

Hey guys and gals, I didi not want that comment I made earlier to come out as being mean. When I was first looking into CHQ I had the spelling messed up and luckily a good friend of mine caught it when he was proofing my stuff and saved some problems. CYA!!!

If I were an HR weenie, it would make quite an impression on me if an applicant could not spell the name correctly.

It would not be the impression the applicant wanted to make, however.

I would be a good guy though. I would explain in my letter to the applicant that it will help them considerably to spell the company name correctly during their continued search for employment.

Hey guys, my bad regarding the spelling of Chautauqua, it was just a mistake from typing too fast. Sounds like there will be some growth there but does anyone know if they are requiring you to give up your seniority? I'm furloughed for probably at least 5 years and I live in MCO so I thought they might be an option if they don't require the letter. Thanks

Give the guy a break, cheese and crackers. I spelled Brasilia wrong until a month a go, and I fly the **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED** thing.

Hey Cornelius by the way where is pancakes house? and who is pankakes anyways.? And if I did misspell pankakes sorry just dont be mean to me like happened to the other poor slob. By the way the vomiting smiley face was pretty hilarious!:D :

skyking

Not to worry they teach you how to spell it on the first day of indoc. The real trick is getting your family to remember who you work for. Two years and I still have to tell them.

Are any of those 70 seaters going to be at the new GSO base?

Pancakes's House is like a Waffle House, IHOPS, etc.. Except Pancake's House is much better. The line is actually from a Coen Brothers' movie (FARGO).

How to apply?

How does one go about applying to Chautauqua? I can't find any information about it on the website.
