King air rick? any ties to clearwater air park Rick G? What about Jeff G? at als? did you like als that much, makes me want to come home...Banners to Southern Air, Flight options now Gemini, when will flying be fun again?
Jeff is a good friend. If Rick G is a brit, I know him also. I'm from SRQ, transplant to TPA, but I know lots of airpark people through my old FO Fiona.
I liked ALS. I have worked for a few 135 and 91 ops, and they really are better. They are very serious about safety and legality. I never had any concerns about getting hurt or violated working there. But, 135 is 135...not for everyone.
Air Logic operates out of Tampa for most customer pick-ups and keeps their jets in Lakeland. The pay sounds good at first, but you only get 2/3 of your quoted pay on the days you don't fly. The salary quoted is based on a 200 day work year. That's 4 days a week and rarely happens on a consistent basis.
Most of the pilots, mechs and office people are very nice. The Fleet now consists of 3 Beechjets - 2 are not very modern and not RVSM'd. The other is a 3 tube EFIS with a lot of hours on it. They have one 604 that's very nice. There are 2 King Airs - a 90 and 200. There is one Falcon 20 coming out of refurb. There are 2 Hawker 800's. A GIII soon and/or maybe a GIV? The only jet ALS owns is the 604.
Just curious as to the 1st and 2nd year FO pay at Air Logic, can anyone PM me with more detailed info, QOL, 401k, benefits, per diem, working conditions, benefits, possible upgrade times?? Thanks for all the info in advance!
