Just got back from London. While I was in Shannon Ireland tied the last couple of seconds of the game, I was in a pub the place went wild. I was also in London when they beat Argentina by one point, the place went crazy, man can those Brits party. So contrary to my last thread which I can't find, futbol is a good thing.
Especially for pilots, breaks the monotony on the road.

Yeah, but bear in mind that the rest of the world actually takes time out to watch the world cricket championships too...a game second in terms of most boring only to golf and tiddileywinks...which each tie for first place.

Is it any wonder countries go to war? It's nothing to do with economics or politics; it's people who go mad watching soccer and golf and cricket. Anything to break the monotony.

War is for SkyNews so they have something to talk about other than the queen, and futbol and cricket.
