Biggest Pet Peeve -----> Instructors who forget what it's like to be a student

instructors who don't listen when you talk. actually, it's not just instructors, it's everyone.

also, people who interrupt.

OK- I'll answer this. Ones who think that 600 hrs should get them a job any where else, and bitch when they don't get a call!!!!

You've got to be kidding me??? Superior, is that what you think??? Idiot. I think half the problems you have are because of yourself. You really, really need to RELAX (I read some of your other replies-whew)!!!!! Take a lude, drink a beer, get a girl, whatever it takes. ;) Actually don't, I like reading and replying to people like you.:p

And BTW-where did I say I don't help tie down airplanes?? Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. If another instructor doesn't help, so be it. WHO GIVES A RATS A$$!!!!!!! Doesn't make him any better or worse than the next instructor. Enjoy your flying, I just pray to God that I won't ever have to fly with a tight wad like you.:uzi: :p
And whatever you say in your reply will only be amusing to me, so have at it!!!!

Well said!!!

Amen to that!!! Also I will add to this, instructors that have 1200 hours and complain beacuse an airline won't pick them up but are not willing to go to work some 135. I guess it's SJS, because a "baron" is not good enough aircraft for them!!!

When I was recieving instruction, by biggest peeve was the instructor that would just walk away after the flight without saying a word. Not that I minded doing the tidy up work after the flight. Hey, that's part of flying, isn't it?

I also hate it when "students"(post private) talk way too much on the radio.

My CFI's an old salt with close to 18k hours, and I really respect what he can do with the airplane. I also don't care about the fact that he never helps out with tie-downs, fueling, etc.-- I'm [pretending to be] PIC, and I'd actually rather do it myself.

My only gripe is that I'd like to add a few seconds to the downwind so I have more time to get set up on final, but he's kinda nuts about noise abatement and likes a tight pattern. I couldn't care less about the dudes in the farmhouses-- they live next to a freaking airport, and if they don't like engine noise they should move.

Letting 2 grown men fight like 9 year old girls on an aviation thread. (bring it on!)
