Dam, you can afford Ramen, I get my freeze dried noodles in black and white packaging labeled Noodles, and it doesn’t come with the packet of spice, LOL

Thankfully I actually like ramen noodles. Unthankfully I came to the realization last month that I qualified for gov aid. Not knocking people who get it though.

My suggestion to you Refugee is to marry a sugar momma like I did. With what I'm getting paid ($10/hr) no one can survive without some other source of income. I feel like a real man when I bring home my $350 check, and the wife shows me her check for $1500. It's all good though, she knows that eventually it will get better.
My girlfriend (we live together) makes good money, and helps out, but we still struggle under the burden of trying to support my flying habit.

If I was flying the schools twin and making crap for pay it would be a different story. Flying a Tomahawk, or Warrior, is a waste of my time. The school has 4 other types of airplane I need to pay to get some time in before I can instruct in them. I even had to pay for 4 hours of Tomahawk to have the pleasure of teaching in it.

If I have to pay for flight time, I might as well enjoy it and do something fun with it. If I work part time in a restaurant I can pursue some freelance flight instruction on the side. Try to beg my way into a twin, then split some multi time with someone a few months from now if I can't figure out another way to get it in the mean time.

"The school has 4 other types of airplane I need to pay to get some time in before I can instruct in them."

What type of crap is that? I think that is bunch of bull to make someone pay for flight if they are going to instruct in that aircraft. At the part 61 school I instructed prior to $10/hr heaven, any aircraft you needed to instruct in you just did a quick checkout on the school's dime.

Man I think you might want to talk to an anger management specialist. With all your hatred toward the aviator lifestyle, I'll think twice about stepping in a plane with you. DCA aside, you might want to look at a CAREER CHANGE!
I still work for DCA and I have been instructing WAYYYY longer than you. I would like to see some things change there, sure. But it's not going to happen anytime soon. So you did some time, BF deal. Now you left. Good for you. Glad your gone.

This guy edits his posts more times than I change socks... Here is his last post quoted...

So then go ahead and register for food stamps. Look at all the fat welfare mommas dragging along their 5+ chillun's (i.e. paychecks) at the Wal-Mart on hwy 17-92...or the Winn Dixie towards Lake Monroe...or whatever your local "mart" is. The DCA guys know what I'm talking about... White, black, Hispanic, etc...doesn't matter... That's life in Sanford, Fl...glad I don't live there anymore...

But, them gov't lackie mommaz gots their steaks, ice creams, frozen pizzas, and 12 packs of brand XXX beer in their shoppin' carts... All they gotta do is whip out that WIC card and bada-bing, bada-boom... The REST of us finance their lifestyles via the taxes we pay... Think about THAT when you're making the low $20s/hr at a regional...

So, why should you have to endure the fat/carbs/calories horror of "just because it's so cheap" ramen? Read the label of that packaged fried "before boiled" crap...

I say get that gov't aid if you qualify for it (thankfully, I don't)...it's out there for anyone and at least you're doing something with your life besides worrying about where "yo baby daddy at"...

Then stay the hell out of the civilian sector, you clearly don't belong here. I spent my time in the military instructing, don't preach that crap to me! I choose not to retire airforce that was my decision. I wanted a change and to become a CIVILIAN again. That's why I'm here. You tried DCA and it wasn't for you. That's fine. I did my time in the military and I was burnt out after 10 years.

No one today really needs a damn interview. If you have the time and are a people person, you get the job. Any job, regional or major. The military could care less about people skills, We strapped them into F-16s and sent them on their way. Not crew type people. Where is you Major airline job Mr. 5000hr pilot?

My Goal? None of you business. I have my own mission in life.

I see your job keeps you so busy you spend 24/7 glued to this website. You must be a really important man. Everyone here knows I already spend too much time on the ground in the sim hall. Let's try this again, your brain is probably permanently damaged by the virbrations from flying whirly birds.
"My goal (AND PAST) are none of your business)"

Case in point. Step away from the computer and put the hamburger down fat man. I now know who you are. You were asked to RESIGN at DCA or you were going to get FIRED! This conversation with you is over as far as I'm concerned. Loser!

Hmmm... It got quiet in here all of a sudden. I remember standing at the dispatch desk one day, listening to how you didn't want to go fly in ACTUAL with an instrument student. How is paying for that student loan going?

this thread just got really funny
buffettck---people skills---please
You obviously need to get out of this industry all together. You are the one that is draging this industry into the crapper. you are the problem not the solution. quite talking/typing NOW!!!!!
