This is a repost from FindApilot, but it is also general knowledge as of two weeks ago. They've lost a few contracts with some airlines, but are still flying the tailfeathers off their Bonanzas and Barons. If you have less total dual given, apply anyway, all the way down to the min of 100 hours. The pay will be less, but why suffer?

AirStaff, Inc.

I've visited the place, met Mr. Hagihara, and had an interview lined up (I had taken another job that I thought would be a better situation.). I have a friend who instructed there. The place is state-of-the-art, a clone of Airline Training Center Arizona. No wonder, because ANA had sent students to ATCA and decided to start up its own facility. Equipment is A36 Bonanzas and B58 Barons.

The school is an ab initio airline pilot facility, meaning that you train students in the line-oriented philosophy from the beginning. The students will be extremely motivated. I saw it as a great opportunity for new instructors to learn line procedures and be imbued in them before they get that regional job.

I didn't realize the mins were so low. I would recommend the place to anyone who wants a good job, for the short or long term. For me, it would have been long term.

Of course, it is in Bakersfield, but, in my $0.02 opinion, the pros clearly outweigh the cons. I recommend the place highly.
