I may have the opportunity to receive training for one of these aircraft. Just curious what everyones thoughts are concerning which type is more valuable and why they think so.

xl by far. The 650 are a dying breed. The xl is cheap and is growing rapidly.
 
I thought the CE-500 series type covered the 560xl. If in fact it does and you have a 500 type you could go to recurrent training instead. Even if the 650 type is a dying breed, once you have the type it's yours untill the feds take it away.
 
The CE560XL is a separate type. I t is not grouped in with the 500 series. I have heard it said that in a few years the Excel will become the most popular business jet of all time. I believe that.
The 650 IS a dying breed. It will soon be as usefull as a 707 type.
