Cathay Pacific SO or FO, does it matter?

I applied to Cathay for any pilot position. I sent in a resume for FO and SO. Do they send different applications for each position.

I really don't have an idea about how competative it is for either position. Especially SO in HK. Do you think I will get an interview with 4200tt 3000 turbine?

Don't know all the details, but...a close friend of mine emailed the HR department and they replied very professionally and promptly that for a SO position, they require only 1000TT and those with more multi would be given first consideration. I don't know if that's worth an interview to them, but it's the info I was relayed.
