I received the phone call and going to the interview very soon.

If you have any interview tips please drop me a line.

"How to pass Cathay Pacific interview and handling the big jets" are good books to buy? Would you recommend them or any other books to review?

Does anyone know if labor problems have been resolved?
What is the current status between Cathay and IALPA now?
Are interviewees still looked down upon?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

A guy I know says a US pilot without the gouge is unlikely to do well at the Cathay interview. He said it was the only way he made it through the interview. He's not Chuck Yeager nor an idiot, but the style of interview is far different than a US airline interview.

PPune.org has a section on there called Fragrant Harbour. I hear there is a lot of Cathay discussion over there.

I have "Handling the Big Jets" by Davies; if you can get your hands on a copy, it's a good book. Technical, but it would help you in a Cathay interview. It's also a good study at aspects of flying jets not covered in typical flight training.
